What We Teach

At Victory Baptist Church we teach that God's Word, the Bible, (King James Version), is the final authority for all matters of our faith and practice.  It is our desire that everything in our church and in our lives would be conformed to the image of the Lord Jesus. 
 

God is the Creator and Ruler of the Universe

Jesus Christ was God, born of a virgin, and lived a sinless life

He died on the Cross as the final payment for all sins

He rose again bodily from the dead on the third day

He will appear one day again to "rapture" His church and then judge the world

All mankind is sinful and faces eternal punishment in hell unless they receive the salvation of God

Salvation is only by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone

A person is saved when he/she repents of sin and trusts Christ as Savior and Lord

Every believer has been called to a life of obedience to God's Word--we must not only talk about the Bible...we must live it!

God has given us the solemn responsibility of reaching our world with the message of Jesus.
